LouLou

Brady's mum got to come visit us this past week! We got in a lot of beach time :)  We went to Panama City twice and Destin once! Brady and I had not been to Destin so it was a new experience for us too!
Destin... Jealous much?

Victoria came with us to Destin. It was great because she is super busy with flight school and I have not seen her in a long time!
At Bubba Gumps! His wife says he is cute :)

We got the doggies Halloween costumes! They are pretty stinking cute!

 Nastia the Witch

 Troggie the Spider

This is a common sight in Alabama... Everyone LOVES their boiled P-nuts... haha. We had to stop and get some on the way to Pamana because Brady and Linda had not had them before.

I really enjoyed having Linda here! It was nice to have some company while brady was at school!

Getting in touch with my crafty side.

I have had a lot of time to relax and get in touch with my crafty side. These follow pictures are the seasonal wreaths I have made! Down in the South these mesh wreaths are everywhere! I have thought about possibly selling them!

For Fall

For Halloween!

I love having a mantel to decorate!

New Orleans

My Mum came to visit me and keep me company while Brady was at a SERE school for three weeks. I am really glad that she got a chance to come and visit during that time! I had no contact with Brady during that time and I knew that he was in a really hard training.
We got to drive down to New Orleans and stay for a few nights! New Orleans is a really fun city. However, it does have its down sides (Stay away from Bourbon St). I ate myself silly! The food there was SO yummy! I recommend Mothers Kitchen. You will be in heaven!
One of my favorite things about this trip was going on a swamp tour! What a fun experience!

First Gator we saw! He/she has a crippled tail.

We got to hold this cute lil guy! His name is Killer!

Another cool thing we did was visit two different Plantations.

This is Oak Alley. It was a sugar cane plantation. There is still a ton of sugar cane around it! It was beautiful!

This is the oak alley leading to the plantation. These trees are only 300 years old!!!

This colorful one is called the San Francisco Plantation. I really liked this one because it is still original. The details inside were AMAZING!

The strangest thing about New Orleans is the cemeteries... They creeped me right out! I felt like i had just walked into a vampire/zombie movie....
The graves are above ground... But wait that's not the strange thing.. The strange thing is that one plot has more than one body! They just shove the bones to the back and use the plot over and over again! I would really hate that job.

We had a blast! I am sure glad my mother and I got to have this experience and time together! :)

Long Hot Summer

Summer in Alabama.... Long HOT summer is the only way to describe it. It has been full of many adventures.

Listen to this
                                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dtfBxUTXRY

First of all Brady Graduated from BOLC and has now moved onto the next phase of flight school. Right now he is in SERE school. Pretty much he is running around in the thick, bug infested, hotter than crap forest fighting GIANT spiders. Ok not really but I can say he is not having a good time.

My Birthday has come and gone. I am now 21! WOOT. I woke up feeling a little sorry for myself. Brady was up and out of the house really early and was gone most of the day. I was also really home sick... It didn't help when Tayton and Tanna called and sang me Happy Birthday. They are SO stinking cute. Gosh I miss the kiddos. My day and attitude turned around after I realized that I have family here, just not biological. My friend Victora took me out to lunch. I just love her. I feel like she could be my big sister. I really look up to her. Then for dinner we went over to my friend Kelli's house and played a bunch of games. Kelli and Dana (and their men) are really amazing people. Kelli is SO sweet and funny. She is from Minnesota and has an adorable little accent. Dana is so kind and loving. She is always there to help out when it is needed. She just graduated from Nursing school and got a job in a hospital on the Oncology floor. Off to do some good she is!!! :)  Honestly, I didn't think that i would miss home as much as I do. I couldn't imagine being here without these lovely people in my life. They make it so much better!

We have been married for 1 year already!!!!!!!!!! Ok well almost... on August 8th we will be. Brady will not be here so we had to celebrate a little early. We drove down to Panama and stayed a night. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings (one of our favs), a movie, mini golfing and PARASAILING! It was awesome! Once I develop the water proof camera I'll put up the pictures! I am really glad we got to get away and celebrate before Brady left! I am SO thankful for Brady in my life. He is so sweet and kind to me.  How did one year go by so fast?!?!??!?!??!?!

Mom is coming in a few days! I am one excited woman! We are going to go to New Orleans and will  have all kinds of Adventures!!!!!!!! :D Woot!

Hopefully everything makes sence... haha I am really tired at the moment.

Panama City Beach

Well I can officially add one more state on my list of states I have visited! Today we went to Panama City Beach in Florida! It is about a hour and half drive from Enterprise... AWESOME right!?!? We took the dogs with us on our epic adventure! They had a lot of fun and will sleep good tonight :)

I can't help but laugh at the face Nastia is making here!

Sand EVERYWHERE!

This is what they looked like after being in the Ocean and then rolling in the sand! haha look at Troggies nose!!

This is my lovely friend Dana! I am lucky to have good friends here!

Hiding from the sun

This picture is to prove that I have not gained weight like everyone has said I would :p

She was such a good lil girl! Only barked a little!

Chillin :)

We have some tired out puppies! haha What a fun day! It is so cool that we have such a beautiful place to go to (its so close!) when we need a mini vacation! We are living the life!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet Home Alabama!

We have been on an adventure of our lives the past month! We have been through 8 different states! Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama! Let me just tell you something... It was one heck of a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG drive! The dogs handled it pretty good! The poor pups had hardly any room in the back seat! We discovered Nastia likes to sit up high where she could see everything going on outside. Sometimes I really think she is actually a cat....

As some of you may know I am a huge Superman fan! So naturally when I saw a sign that said GIANT SUPERMAN STATUE 3MILES AHEAD I was stoked... and Brady thought I was a huge nerd. It was a really fun random stop to Metropolis, Illinois! They had SO much Superman stuff!

Once we finally made it to Alabama we started looking for a place to live. This is our house :)

It is in a adorable little neighborhood just a few miles out side of base. 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath and the kitchen is HUGE compared to our house in Utah. After living in a cockroach infested hotel for 10 days straight this is like living in heaven! Our house hold goods have not arrived yet... Yes i know what you are thinking... "You've been living in a house with nothing in it for almost a month now!?".... Yes, that would be correct... Nothing.

I made a lovely friend that let us use her air mattress so we aren't sleeping on the floor. We also decided that we needed couches and they got here about a week ago. So we at least have somewhere to sit now.

 The dogs approve

I really like Alabama.. I feel like the movies portray it very well! I like that country music is played everywhere you go.. I like that I get to see Tim McGraw in concert tomorrow night at the BamaJam Fest. I like that I am getting a tan and my skin is really soft. I like that everyone is nice and friendly here. Plus they all have funny accents.
What i have discovered that I don't like is number one, the bugs! They are everywhere! I don't like the terrible heat, the fact that there is not a betos/ cafe rio here and last but not least I don't like that school has not worked out very well for me. But hey, i guess that leaves me a lot of time to go thrift shopping and get in touch with my crafty side.  :)

 And snuggle troggie...

Love and Miss you all!

The Past Few Months

Can I just say DISNEYLAND!?!??! Yeah well this is how we spent our spring break! I NEVER thought that I would say this but for once I was actually glad Brady is a video game nerd! He has some friends in California that he met playing W.O.W, Beth and Josh. They were a way fun to get to know plus Josh is a cast member and got us into Disneyland for FREE!

Another fun thing we got to do was go to Sea World. Sea World was also FREE thanks to the military! I really enjoyed all of the shows!

Oh by the way... I broke my hand...

I just wanted you all to see how handsome Mr. Lemons is in his dress blues :)

I just love her little fluffy head :)
Here's to a random blog post!!
