Home is where the heart is!

I was so blessed to get to go back to Utah/Idaho for a week and a half to see my Nephew Tayton get baptized and my new niece Blakeli's blessing. I had SO much fun! Going back to work really sucked. :(
When my parents picked me up from the airport we headed straight for Siegfried, My favorite German restaurant! After that we headed to Levi and Kali's house so I could meet baby Blakli! She is such a pretty, perfect, sweet baby! She makes a lot of cute faces when she is awake!

She looks SO much like a Winward!

Saturday was the Baptism/Blessing. It was such a special day! We are so lucky that Tayton is still here with us. We are SO thankful that he is doing good all things considered.

Saturday was also Tayton's birthday! Happy May the fourth be with you day! Very appropriate for a little boy that LOVES Star Wars! Rylan and I had fun celebrating and ate way to much cake!

After the party, Brooke and I went to City Creek and shopped our little hearts out! It was so much fun to catch up with Brooke! She is my best friend and like my sister! I stayed the night at her house in Logan that night... We stayed up WAY to late. I was falling asleep standing ha!
Sunday morning I headed up to Idaho to see Brady's side of the family. I had way to much fun playing with Wyatt! He is getting SO big. He is adorable. We went to the zoo and Reeds Dairy.

Had some fun taking pictures!

Tuesday night my Dad took me fly fishing up Ogden Canyon! I had never been fly fishing before so I was pretty excited to go and spend some time with my dad!

We even caught our own bate! We rolled rocks over in the river to catch these creepy little stone flies!

We didn't have much luck! We only had two bites the entire time! This beautiful fish was the only one we caught!

Wednesday we went up to Logan and did some shooting!  We shot a little H&R Magnum pistol!

Folks, You don't want to mess with my momma when she is shooting this gun! She is one good shot (I can't say the same thing when it comes to her and the 12 gauge)!

Shooting the 12 gauge made me feel like I was a true redneck! I loved it (besides the fact that my shoulder almost fell off afterwards).

Friday Tayton had another surgery. I got to have this pretty lady all day long! We had such a fun girls day and she wore me out... We went to the Willow Park Zoo. She is so smart!

After the zoo we played at the park! I think that I did about a million under doggies! This girl could swing for hours!

Friday night Bryn and Andria came back down. We headed out to Crystal Hot Springs! The kids wanted to drive with Aunt Kayla. I felt like I was driving a Clown car! These are some crazy, cute kiddos!

Tanna came with us the airport. She was a real happy camper as you can tell... She "just wanted something fun to do." She forgot her happy meal toy at the house. Boy her life is real complicated.

Utah is one of the most beautiful places EVER! I had so much fun with everyone!

Sunshine in my soul

I hope you are ready for a long blog post with LOTS of pictures!  We have officially lived in Alabama for ONE YEAR! We celebrated at the beach today! That is so crazy! Time had just flown by! I remember last year when we got here we couldn't believe how hot it already was! Last Wednesday it was 85 degrees here and in Utah it was snowing.
We have been enjoying the sun! We have been trying to take the dogs out as much as possible. They have been going a little stir crazy sitting in the house. Taking the dogs for a long board ride is one of our favorite ways to exercise these little fatties! They do all the work and they LOVE it!

This is Nastias good pal Eddy! She always gets so excited when he gets to come play.

I am not a huge fan of letting the dogs on the bed. Every once in a while they get to come up though. Troggie loves it. Look at that cute little bum!

The other night Nastia was being super annoying when we were trying to go to bed. So she ended up in Doggy prison... AKA the laundry basket. She was not a fan of this! haha. I am going to start leaving her here when i leave the house! :p

Brady gave her green eye brows. She looked pretty stupid. Made me feel better after she chewed up my wedding heels! Argh!!!!

I have been having so much fun with my sewing machine! I have made all sorts of things! I made this maxi skirt! I did make a little mistake on it.  Once i fix it it will look a little better!
(Thanks for the cute shirt mom!)

I made these cute chevron and ruffle pillows for a friend! I am trying to get a Etsy account going! Maybe I can sell them and quit my terrible job!  :)

We took our first  trip of the year down to Panama City Beach today! I LOVE Panama City! The beaches are seriously the most beautiful beaches ever! I will miss Panama when we leave Alabama.

We love our Floppy hats!

Doggies trying to stay out of the sun.

Dawww... Troggie is so precious! He loves to roll in the sand and get his little paws wet in the ocean!

On our way back home we stopped at Donut Land! I may or may not be addicted to their chocolate donuts.. They are so delicious! Nommm.....

Brady and I have been doing a lot of house work! We have painted, got new carpet and redid the fire place! We finally finished the fire place tonight! Once we get everything cleaned up I will post pictures! Our house feels brand new!

Blessings and Blackhawks

Today  I am sitting at home one the couch waiting for Brady to bring me a sprite. I've been sleeping most of the day due to a lovely stomach virus I contracted at work :( Boo... I have not been sick like this in a really long time. Brady gave me a blessing last night. I am pretty sure that that helped me get what little bit of sleep I got last night.
In other news.... Brady found out what helicopter he'll be flying! He'll be flying a UH-60A. or for us non military speaking folks a Blackhawk! I am really proud of him!

The Blackhawk course is 16 weeks! So before we know it we will be out of Alabama! I like Alabama and I LOVE our house but I think I am ready to get out of Alabama. I am ready to school going again!

Valentines, dogs and new kicks

My dear sweet mother got me a sewing machine! I was very excited to get it! It was a fun little surprise! I have been trying to find small little projects to keep me busy until i can get stuff together for a bigger project.

I have made a lot of infinity scarfs and mailed them to everyone! They are fun and super easy (and a lot cheaper) to make!

I made this cute little valentines garland for my mantel. We also repainted! Finally...

We are planning on redoing our bedding so I've started making the pillows! I love how this one turned out!
For Valentines this year we were kind of lame. Brady had to work all day and then I had to work at night. We didn't see each other until 8 at night!
I woke up early with him and made cinnamon rolls. I attempted to made them in a heart shape. Sadly they resembled boobs more than hearts once they were cooked. I guess it was the thought that counted. Ha! I also got Troggie and Nastia a little valentine. They got these adorable stuffed animals for them! Growing up my mother always got us some sort of Valentine surprise. I want to keep that going!

Brady just got some new running shoes! He pretty much ran the soles off of his old shoes. He saved a whamping 50 something dollars on them! Go Brady!!!!! Troggie decided to try them out... Nastia decided to photo bomb the picture..... I love it.

Well folks.. There you have it! This is as of lately in the Lemons household! Until next time!

Shy

I got to go to Orlando to visit my lovely Shyanne! We had a really good time! I am glad that I got to see her! I needed it. We went to Downtown Disney and walked around for a while. Took some Goofy pictures.

This lizard was IN MY BED!! When i pulled the quilt back to straighten the sheets it jumped out! I almost peed my pants!

This was a little shop in Celebration, Disney's own little town. I had to take this picture for Brooke. An entire store with just Hello Kitty!
