Merry Christmas!

This year was really unique for Brady and I! We decided that for Christmas we were going to go trade white fluffy snow for white sand and go on a cruise to the Bahamas! We went to Freeport, Nassau and Half Moon Cay.
On Freeport we went snorkeling! I'll have to post the pictures when they get developed... That is if any of them turned out! I loved snorkeling so much!
At Nassau we went to Atlantis! We got to go on all of the slides and checked out the fishes! Now that is a cool place! I would love to go back and have more time to check everything out!
Half Moon Cay was Carnivals Private Island. It was pretty much just a beach day!

This was right after we got on the ship

This was the sun set as we were taking off! It was so pretty!!

Little Hottie as we got off the Ship at Nassau

Atlantis

I am pretty sure this Manta Ray eats little children! It was so unbelievably huge!

This poor fish was SO ugly....and Huge!

Elegant night!

Half Moon Cay!

I have more pictures but It will take a little while before I get them up.
We had SO much fun! It was strange not being with our families for Christmas. But it was fun to get to do our own thing. I am pretty dang spoiled... :)

Best Friends

Hey mom!!! I am pretty sure you are the only person that reads this haha! Anywho! Here are some really cute pictures of when Brooke Visited!

When it rains... It Pours! I have really learned to love the rain in Bama!

Lots of beach trips for us! Make you want to come back again?

Love you!

Thinking.....

Lately i have had a lot of time for thinking. What comes to my mind today is Guarding Angels and how grateful i am for them.
When I was 5 I remember walking up to see my dad in his hospital bed. He had been in a mountain bike accident which resulted in a broken spine and loosing all his teeth. I remember seeing the huge scab on his nose and his jaw wired shut. I remember trying to hold back tears as he hugged me. That day he had a serious Guarding Angel.
When i was about 12 my brother had some serious health Issues. It took over 13 doctors to diagnose him with Thoracic outlet syndrome. TOS is a condition whereby symptoms are produced from compression of nerves or blood vessels, or both, because of an inadequate passageway through the thoracic outlet between the base of the neck and the armpit.... We had to go to Houston TX for him to have ribs removed. He had a Guarding Angel directing him and my mother towards that Doctor.
When I was about 13 my mom had a heart attack. I remember when my neighbor had a feeling to come and visit my mother. When she got there she called 911. I remember the paramedics rushing into the house and carrying my other out. I remember watching as the Paramedics stopped at the bottom of the road as they tried to get my mom stable. I remember sitting in the back of my brothers best friends car. He had bought Dante and I frostys. I couldn't eat it. Still to this day they remind me of that night.  I remember him saying a prayer that everything would be alright. She had to be life flighted and during that trip she actually died. Somehow they brought her back to life. That day our neighbor was an amazing Guarding Angel. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
Right after Levi and Kali got engaged Kali was in a strange accident. They were out jeeping around when they got stuck. Levi got out to try and see what was going on. Then the jeep started rolling backwards and tumbled down the mountain with Kali still in it. She had to get staples in her head but it could have been a lot worse. She had a Guarding Angel that day.
Then a month ago my sweet nephew got lit on fire. 14 percent of his body was covered in 2nd and 3rd degree burns. This past month he has been sedated and received many skin grafts. He has struggled very much. I know that his hospital room is FULL of  Guarding Angels. I am SO thankful that he is finally improving and healing.
There has been many other times that Guarding Angels have protected me and my family. Without them my family would be much smaller. It is no wonder why i want to be a nurse... haha! I didn't write this to make anyone feel sorry for my family but to express my thanks towards all the blessings we have had.

My sweet nephew Tayton came home from school Thursday afternoon screaming. Kali looked at him and gave him a big hug and asked what was wrong. Then she smelled him and got a good look at him. He said that some older boys were lighting gasoline on fire and he was just watching and got burnt. He has 14% of his body burned. His hands and arms are the worst with 3rd degree burns on them. His face is 2nd degree burns, but on the positive side his lungs and throat seem to be ok. They have him sedated and plan on keeping him that way for the next couple of days, because of the pain and the breathing tube. It looks like he will have surgery on Monday maybe Tuesday for skin graphs on his hands, not sure on his face yet. We are going to have a long recovery ahead of us. At least 2-3 weeks in the hospital and months and months of therapy and recovery. He is still in critical condition right now and the next 24-48 hours are going to be the hardest for him. They are very optimistic he will make it through. He is a fighter and we are praying for a miracle. Tayton seemed to have been burned the worst out of the five boys. So please teach your children about fire danger and make sure to give them a big hug and kiss. You never know when something terrible like this is going to happen. If you would like to help Tayton and his family you can donate by clicking on this link. Thank you everyone.
