Sealing

We were lucky enough to get to go home for a little bit and get sealed in the Logan Temple! It was a lovely day.

Panama City Beach Adventures!

One of my favorite things about Alabama is having the beach so close! I have been many times since we moved here!  For our One year Anniversary we stayed a night in Panama and went Parasailing! The pictures are finally here!!

The following are pictures from when Brooke visited

And these are from when Linda visited :)

LouLou

Brady's mum got to come visit us this past week! We got in a lot of beach time :)  We went to Panama City twice and Destin once! Brady and I had not been to Destin so it was a new experience for us too!
Destin... Jealous much?

Victoria came with us to Destin. It was great because she is super busy with flight school and I have not seen her in a long time!
At Bubba Gumps! His wife says he is cute :)

We got the doggies Halloween costumes! They are pretty stinking cute!

 Nastia the Witch

 Troggie the Spider

This is a common sight in Alabama... Everyone LOVES their boiled P-nuts... haha. We had to stop and get some on the way to Pamana because Brady and Linda had not had them before.

I really enjoyed having Linda here! It was nice to have some company while brady was at school!

Getting in touch with my crafty side.

I have had a lot of time to relax and get in touch with my crafty side. These follow pictures are the seasonal wreaths I have made! Down in the South these mesh wreaths are everywhere! I have thought about possibly selling them!

For Fall

For Halloween!

I love having a mantel to decorate!

New Orleans

My Mum came to visit me and keep me company while Brady was at a SERE school for three weeks. I am really glad that she got a chance to come and visit during that time! I had no contact with Brady during that time and I knew that he was in a really hard training.
We got to drive down to New Orleans and stay for a few nights! New Orleans is a really fun city. However, it does have its down sides (Stay away from Bourbon St). I ate myself silly! The food there was SO yummy! I recommend Mothers Kitchen. You will be in heaven!
One of my favorite things about this trip was going on a swamp tour! What a fun experience!

First Gator we saw! He/she has a crippled tail.

We got to hold this cute lil guy! His name is Killer!

Another cool thing we did was visit two different Plantations.

This is Oak Alley. It was a sugar cane plantation. There is still a ton of sugar cane around it! It was beautiful!

This is the oak alley leading to the plantation. These trees are only 300 years old!!!

This colorful one is called the San Francisco Plantation. I really liked this one because it is still original. The details inside were AMAZING!

The strangest thing about New Orleans is the cemeteries... They creeped me right out! I felt like i had just walked into a vampire/zombie movie....
The graves are above ground... But wait that's not the strange thing.. The strange thing is that one plot has more than one body! They just shove the bones to the back and use the plot over and over again! I would really hate that job.

We had a blast! I am sure glad my mother and I got to have this experience and time together! :)
